The company

Tulip Harvest B.V. is a second-generation family business based between Lisse and Hillegom, in the heart of the Dutch bulb region. We grow on 41 hectares of our own land and work with a small circle of neighbouring growers to cover peak-season volumes.

Our lifting season runs from late June through July. Bulbs are cleaned, graded and stored in climate-controlled cells before shipping from September onwards. Cut flower production runs from December to April under glass.

We export to 23 countries. Phytosanitary certification is arranged for every consignment leaving the EU.

How ordering works

We work on pre-order for bulbs and on running contracts for cut flowers.

  1. Send us your requested varieties and volumes. We reply with availability and a firm quotation within two working days.
  2. Pre-orders for the autumn season close on 15 August. Later requests are filled from remaining stock.
  3. Payment 30% on confirmation, balance before dispatch. SEPA and bank transfer; letter of credit for larger export orders.
  4. Shipment by refrigerated truck within Europe, or air freight with phytosanitary documents for overseas destinations.
